Prelude to a Kiss is a romantic fairy tale, with lots of charm and plenty of laughs.  A cocktail party begins the love affair between ready-for-love Peter, and the quirky Rita, who’s pursuing her dreams in a life where bad things can happen to good people.  It’s not long before wedding bells ring, and the mysterious man joins the party.  The old man congratulates the bride with a kiss, and bingo!  Peter finds himself honeymooning with a most un-Rita like bride.  The rest of the play deals with Rita and Peter’s new take on life and Peter’s efforts to undo the transforming affects of the kiss.
