Michigan beer and wine will take their turn in the Croswell Opera House’s spotlight this month.
The Croswell’s St. Patrick’s Day Michigan Beer and Wine Tasting event will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, March 14.
Cotton Brewing Co., Adrian’s own homegrown brewery, and J. Trees Cellars, a winery based in Tecumseh, will be joined by Midland Brewing Co., Grand River Brewery, Paw Paw Brewing Co., Schmoz Brewery, and Petoskey Brewing.
In addition to tasting stations that will be open all evening, some of the breweries will offer limited-run taps of their rarer beers at different times throughout the night.
“When people come to the Croswell, they expect a unique experience,” artistic director Jere Righter said. “Bringing in these wonderful craft brewers and wineries from across the state, including two from right here in Lenawee County, is another way we can provide a fun, one-of-a-kind experience in downtown Adrian.”
Entertainment will be provided by the Croswell All-Star Band, featuring John Rosas on lead guitar, Keith Holloway on guitar and vocals, Dave Rains on keyboard and vocals, Dan Kesterke on drums, Garrett Holloway on bass, and Kyrie Bristle on vocals.
Admission to the event is $15 and tastings are five for $10. Although guests must be 21 to be served, anyone is welcome and soft drinks will be available at the concession stand.
