Summer Shows

Auditions for our Summer 2025 productions of Anastasia, La Cage Aux Folles, Bring It On, and Annie will take place in two parts. Auditions for adults and teens will be in late January and early February, while auditions for kids ages 12 and under will be in April.

Adults and Teens

Adult and teen auditions for Anastasia, La Cage Aux Folles, Bring It On, and Annie will take place in three locations.

In Adrian:

• Monday, January 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Croswell
• Monday, February 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the Croswell
• Saturday, February 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Croswell

In Toledo:

• Sunday, January 26 from 5-7 p.m. at the Wingate by Wyndham, 5480 Main St., Sylvania

In Ann Arbor:

• Sunday, February 9 from 5-7 p.m. at The Kensington Hotel, 3500 S. State St. (in the Briarwood Mall plaza)

These auditions are for anyone age 13 and up. We are particularly looking for people with dance, gymnastics or cheerleading experience for Bring It On.

More information, including details about the roles in all shows, will be posted closer to the audition date.

Kids ages 12 and under

Auditions for youth roles in Anastasia and Annie will take place on:

• Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Monday, April 14 from 6-8 p.m.

Both dates will be at the Croswell.

Kids must currently be in at least 1st grade to audition.

More information, including details about the roles in all shows, will be posted closer to the audition date.

General information

Auditioners should prepare a short musical selection, about 1 minute long, and bring sheet music for the accompanist. There will be a dance audition as well. You do not need to prepare anything for this portion, but please wear or bring comfortable clothing that you are comfortable dancing in.

Most shows will require 6-8 weeks of rehearsals, which take place on evenings and weekends.

The Croswell is a community theater and actors in our productions are volunteers; however, we do offer mileage reimbursement to help with costs for those who have a commute.

As part of our commitment to providing a safe, comfortable and supportive environment, we employ professional intimacy directors, fight choreographers, and other experts as needed.
