Ticket Policies
Box Office Hours
The Croswell business office is at 129 E. Maumee St., located just to the right of the Croswell’s marquee. Tickets may be purchased at the business office from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 2-7 p.m. Thursday. The box office also opens 90 minutes before the beginning of each show.
Cancellation Policy
We rarely cancel a show due to inclement weather. In the event of a cancellation, we will make every attempt to contact ticket holders via phone and email, and if possible, we will also announce the cancellation through The Daily Telegram and WLEN.
If you are concerned about your safety when traveling to a show, you may call the Croswell to exchange your tickets for a different night. If it is a one night event, call the Croswell before the show begins to receive a house credit. If we do cancel a show, the decision will be made at least three hours before the show begins. To check if a show has been cancelled, please visit our Facebook page.
Children
Everyone who comes to a show must have a ticket. Lap seats are not permitted. Although we do not have a minimum age for admittance to the theater, for most shows we do not recommend bringing very young children, as sitting through a full-length production can be difficult for them.
Discounts
- Youth rate: A special youth rate is available for everyone under 18. For our Broadway Season productions, the youth/student rate is $25 for seats in the Premium section, $20 for seats in the Tier A section, and $15 for seats in the Tier B section. For special events, the youth rate may vary.
- Student rate: All high school and college students may purchase tickets for the same price as youth admission.
- Groups: For most shows, volume discounts are available for groups of 14 or more.
Donations
The Croswell is a non-profit organization. We do not offer monetary sponsorship for any events. We will, however, consider requests for ticket donations for fundraisers.
If you would like to request a ticket donation, please send or bring in a letter on your organization’s letterhead that explains the event and your organization’s connection to the Croswell or its mission. Personal benefits are not eligible.
Exchanges
You may exchange tickets from one night of a performance to another night of the same performance. You must contact the Croswell before the date you have tickets for passes.
Alterations
Tickets that have been materially altered, including by removal or alteration of the face value, will not be honored.
Third-party Resellers
Please be aware that the Croswell does not knowingly do business with any third-party resellers. The only authorized place to buy tickets online is this website, and our only phone numbers are 517-264-7469 and 517-263-6868.
Fees
There is a $5 processing fee on every in-person, by phone order, or online orders. This fee covers the cost of expenses related to our ticketing system and ticket printing. The fee is the same whether you pay with cash, check, or credit card; or order online, over the phone or in person.
If you would like your tickets mailed to you, there is a $2 mailing fee. This fee is waived if you choose to have your tickets emailed or held at Will Call in the box office. You may pick up your tickets from Will Call 90 minutes before the show begins, or anytime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
We also offer tickets by email. You can print emailed tickets at home, or you can show them to the ticket scanner on your smartphone as you enter the theater.
Refunds
Ticket orders are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a performance, a house credit will be issued only if you contact the Croswell before the show begins. House credits are good for 1 year. The $5 processing fee cannot be refunded.
Ticket Reprints
If you lose your tickets or forget to bring them, we are able to reprint them at the box office.
Photography, Video Recording and Electronic Devices
We ask that electronic devices be turned off or silenced before the show begins. In addition, photography and video recording are absolutely not permitted during performances. In addition to being distracting for the actors and other audience members, it also violates most license agreements.
Smoking
The Croswell is a non-smoking facility, and all of our events, both indoors and out, are smoke-free. E-cigarettes are prohibited as well.
Subscription Packages
We offer subscription packages for our Broadway Season. If you purchase tickets to three or more shows, you can save up to 30% off your total purchase.
